Dear Parents and Guardians,
Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming!
We are proud to announce that our annual Christmas program will be presented on Wednesday, December 18th. We are planning two performances on December 18th - one at 9:00 a.m. and the other at 6:30 p.m. In order to safely seat everyone who is attending (and be attentive to fire regulations), admittance will be by ticket only. Each family will receive four tickets for the 9:00 a.m. show and two for the 6:30 p.m. show. There is unlimited seating available for the dress rehearsal at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17th. Please encourage relatives and friends who may wish to see the program to attend the dress rehearsal or daytime performance in order to ease the crowding for the evening program.
"The Manger Scene", an original play written by sixth grade teacher Mrs. Colleen Kavanagh is truly a gift from the entire school. Students in each grade, pre school through grade 6, will have a part. Sixth grade students will have speaking/acting parts, while all other students will provide vocal selections that help tell the story. Individual classroom teachers will be sending a note home with any "dress requirements" for their part in the program. It is assumed that all children will be present for the dress rehearsal and daytime program since these will take place during the school day. However, if your child will not be taking part in the evening performance, please send a not to the teacher as soon as possible.
In order to help us and in order to help others hear and see the program, we ask that doorways and aisles remain clear, that persons not congregate in the hallways outside of the gym area and that guests remain seated in the gym for the entire program. Students will have specific classrooms to report to for the evening performance and can be met at those rooms following the completion of the program.
As always, parking is a challenge! Please park with care and use row-parking so that as many cars as possible can be parked on the playground.
