  • 2015 State Geography Bee

    Sixth graders participated in the National Geography Bee on January 29th. The finalists of the school bee were Breanna Abston, Ty Miller, Joseph Pullen and Syndi Wills.  After the final rounds, Ty Miller was named the school finalist. Ty took a qualifying test and will now compete in the State National Geography Bee on April 1st. Thank you to Mrs. Colleen Kavanagh for preparing the children and sponsoring this event.

     
  • 2015 Regional Reading Fair

    On March 10th. Caprie Wooden (Gr. 1), Landon Baxter (Gr. 4) and Priscilla Foster (Gr. 6) participated in the Regional Reading Fair in Hattiesburg. Priscilla Foster received a 3rd place award and Landon Baxter received a 1st place award in his division. Landon will proceed on to the State Reading Fair on April 29th. Special thanks to Mrs. Kelly Pennell (Nativity School Librarian) and the faculty and staff for their work with the children. UPDATE: Congratulations Landon Baxter who won second place at the State Reading Fair. We are so proud of him!

  • 2015 Regional Science Fair

    Twenty students from Nativity School qualified to participate in the Regional Science Fair which was held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on March 1st. These first through sixth graders qualified for this honor because of their achievement at the school science fair. Five students received special recognition in their divisions at the Regional Science Fair: Arny Gollott (Gr. 2) – First Place Wallace Boudreaux (Gr. 6) – Second Place Wyeth Stewart (Gr. 4) – Fourth Place Rylee Donohue (Gr. 5) and  Landon Baxter (Gr. 4) – tied for Sixth place Thank you to the Science Fair Committee, Mrs. Colleen Kavanagh, […]

     
  • 1st Place Regional Robotics Competition

    1st Place Regional Robotics Competition

    The Nativity School Robotics Team, composed of students in Grades 4-6, received a first place trophy for robot performance at the St. Patrick’s Regional Robotic Competition on December 12th. The Team qualified to participate in the State Robotics Tournament on March 5th in Vicksburg, MS. Our thanks to Mrs. Debbie Worrel and the St. Patrick’s High School mentors as well as Nativity School staff for their work with the children.

    Nativity BVM School 2016 – 2017 School Year Elementary School (Kindergarten through Grade 6) Registration Fee The registration fee for one child is $200.00. The registration fee for each additional child in the family is $150.00. The registration fee is non refundable and is required at the time of registration. This fee reserves the child’s place in the classroom. General Fees/Technology Fee The General Fees/Technology Fee is $250.00 per child and is non refundable.   • 2016 – 2017 Registration Information

    Registration is now open for all students and grades PK3 – 6. Registrations will be accepted until all openings are filled. Final Registration will take place on Thursday, July 21st from 4pm until 7pm; Friday, July 22nd from 10am until 2pm; and Friday, July 29th from 10am until 2pm. A special drawing will take place for families completing registration on July 21st and July 22nd. Prizes will include gift certificates and a ticket for the $3,000 NPA raffle.
